The Peterson School is proud to offer the Robert Steiber Memorial Scholarship. This scholarship is offered in memory of long time Peterson School instructor, Robert “Bob” Steiber out of our Woburn campus.

Bob lent his instruction and mentorship to the Peterson School and its students for over 25 years. While his specialty was in the field of HVACR, he had a sincere appreciation for all the sustainable careers the trades have to offer.

The importance of family, giving back to the community and dedication to reaching set goals were among the hallmarks of Bob’s personality and the leadership he provided at our school and in our classrooms. Award applicants should possess these qualities and look at these attributes when applying.

This scholarship will be awarded to two Peterson School students who are registered for a class in the 2024 Fall semester. Each $1000 scholarship will be applied toward the tuition of a class and has no cash value.

Requirements

Applicant must submit a type written essay of no more than 250 words describing the following:

  • Why did you choose to pursue a career in the Trades?
  • Why should this scholarship be awarded to you?
  • Why did you choose The Peterson School to fulfill your educational requirements?
