Security Installation Technician

The Navicon Group is a full-service nationwide technology solutions provider. We are looking for a Security Technician to assist in the installation for various security projects.
Responsibilities
- Installation, programming, cabling and testing of low voltage and security equipment.
- Ensure equipment is functional and operational and diagnose causes of system problems or failures.
- Installing door strikes, magnetic locks, panels, power supplies, and other components.
- Provide technical support to customers including remote phone diagnosis and troubleshooting.
- Coordinate with Operations Manager with completing service and work orders efficiently.
- Ability to read writing schematics and blueprints.
Requirements
- Licensed journeymen or Massachusetts Class D Systems Technicians are required. Applicants will be working in both new construction environments and client offices.
- Experienced in diagnosing and troubleshooting various systems and training/certifications associated with Verkada/Axis Kantech/AXIS/Genetec/Avigilion/Exaq and IT a plus.
- Neat and professional appearance along with strong work ethic and good communication skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team and must have valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
