Murphy Fuel Corp in Waltham is seeking an experienced Oil Burner Technician or HVAC Technician. We’ve been a reputable family owned and operated business since 1986. Murphy Fuel Corp services and installs oil heating systems, air conditioning, mini-splits, and water heaters for residential customers and a few small commercial customers. Job Responsibilities:
- Service & install heating and air conditioning systems for customers as needed (mostly residential).
- Diagnose & resolve system issues. Explain issues and resolutions to customers to ensure their satisfaction and build customer loyalty. Document findings for the office.
- Maintain your company vehicle. Keep your vehicle fully stocked and organized, and help maintain a well organized garage.
- Join the on-call rotation for emergency oil heating service for our oil customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- MA Oil Burner License
- Experience servicing or installing oil burners or heating and air conditioning systems
- Driver’s license and clean driving record
- High school diploma or its equivalent
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- Contribute to a positive team experience
- Strong communication skills and comfortable speaking with customers
