HVAC Mechanic
Company: Anna Jaques Hospital Location: Newburyport, MA
Are you ready to become a part of our dynamic Maintenance Team at Anna Jaques Hospital?
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- A thorough understanding of HVAC and Refrigeration principles and practices.
- Ability to read and understand blueprints.
- Have a working knowledge, at least at a basic level of building automation systems, specifically, Siemens and Johnson Controls.
- Installs, inspects, operates, repairs, and maintains heating, ventilating and air conditioning equipment, refrigeration, and ice making equipment.
Scheduled Hours: 40 hr/wk
Work Shift: M – F 7a – 330p. Rotating on call weekend shift.
Education Required: A High School or equivalent.
Required Experience: A minimum of three - five years HVAC experience as a licensed refrigeration mechanic, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Required Licensure/Certification:
- Must have a valid driver’s license in order to respond to maintenance callas at multiple offsite locations.
- Mass Refrigeration License.
