Maintenance Mechanic II

Title
• Maintenance Mechanic II – Manufacturing Facilities
Reporting
• Reports to the Supervisor of Manufacturing Facilities
Primary Duties
• Ensure the efficient maintenance and reliable operation of the process, HVAC and utility equipment
needed to support a GMP manufacturing facility including supporting site laboratories
Other Responsibilities and Skills
• Conduct facility monitoring, alarm and emergency response, routine and non-routine maintenance
activities to support facility and warehouse operations. This includes, but is not limited to: air handlers,
generators, roof-top-units, humidifiers, process and utility equipment
• Perform general facility repairs to other areas of the company that are not governed by GMPs. This
includes, but is not limited to: R&D and PD labs, drywall repairs, painting, and other needs throughout
the company
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent plus 3-5 years of related industry experience with 2-4 years of
cGMP plant operations experience; certification(s) preferred
Experience
• Possess prior work experience in a GMP, biotechnology and/or FDA regulated environment
• Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general carpentry & repair
Compensation
• Pay commensurate with skills/experience
Other
• Required to carry a mobile phone at all times and be on call as required to support operations and
participate in off-hour emergency coverage as needed
• Must be able to climb a ladder, reach, bend and lift loads up to 50 pounds
• Must live within commuting distance of Beverly, MA
